House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are expected to follow her lead with their own endorsements as soon as Monday, CNN reports. Jeffries told reporters he and Schumer are meeting with her in the near future. Pelosi’s endorsement is the signal we’ve all been waiting for as endorsements from members of Congress and state and local leaders have flooded in for Harris since Biden endorsed her Sunday. Along with a lot of money! Harris succeeded in quickly consolidating support from her would-be challengers for the Democratic nomination. With Pelosi’s nod, Harris’ nomination is all but a done deal.
