Uganda will compete at the 2024 Masters Darts Championships at BOK Gerevich Aladár Nemzeti Sportcsarnok in Budapest city, Hungary.

This championship will be held from Wednesday, 9th to Sunday 13th October 2024 as confirmed by the Nick Rolls, the Secretary General of World Darts Federation (WDF).

Uganda’s delegation will have eleven people with seven players (four males and three females) with four officials.

Stephen Abibi, Jacob Okidi, David Komakech and Isaac Passi Acidri are the male players on the team.

The females include Sarah Makanga Nabawunuka, Margaret Tumuhaise and Winnie Asuga Okulumya.

Officials:

Uganda Darts Association (UDA) chairman Abbey Ariong is expected to travel as the head of delegation.

UDA General Secretary David Alex Tarabo is among the traveling officials. Robert Clegg Okalany will travel as team manager as Gloria Omwonya is the assistant team manager.

Hefty Prize Money:

The 2024 World Masters will carry a total prize fund of more than €50,000. The men’s winner will take home €10,000 while the women’s champion will pocket €5,000.

The prize monies will trickle down up to the last 64 and 32 stages for men and women respectively.
