In preparation for the 2024 MTN Busoga Masaza football cup, management of Butembe ssaza has confirmed their technical and administrative departments.

The head coach is Isaac “Ozil” KItakule. He will be deputized by Shafik Kizza and Paul Dhafa.

Willis Ntuyo is goalkeeping coach and Bashir Bogere the fitness coach.

Musa Womunafu is video analyst, Yacob Yateesa the Public Relations Officer and Henry Papa Oloya, the media officer.

I am happy to join Butembe Ssaza for the new season. The target is to assemble a good team and prepare the players ahead of the 2024 championship with the prime target being winning the title. I thank the management and my fellow coaches. Together, with the full support, we shall make it.

Hon. Edwin Lufafa is patron. Owek. James Mukembo serves as the chairperson and will be deputized by Pr Solomon Kyanzi.

Denisa Gazimbye is technical director with Joseph Muwanguzi as the Chief Executive Officer.

Others:

The other officials include; Richard Kimera (administrator), Paul Muwanguzi (team manager), and Paul Makete (assistant team manager).

The trio of Samuel Muyaka, Fred Nakyoma and Alex Bate Mugisha are in charge of marketing and corporate affairs docket.

Butembe lost to Busiki 0-1 in last year’s final played at Kakindu stadium, Jinja city.

The Busoga Masaza Cup is sponsored by telecommunications company MTN Uganda, Kansai Plascon, Nile Breweries Limited, Haojue and Ojasi Charity Foundation.
