Purple Chord Records singer Naira Ali has ignited mixed reviews among her online followers when she likened ‘Kampala girlfriends’ to ‘orphans’.
This is after the singer who relocated to the USA quote the Bible, Proverbs 18:22 that says, ‘He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord’ and interchanged a few words to mock the behavior of Kampala girls.
She mentioned that, ‘He who finds a girlfriend in Kampala, finds an orphan’ a statement that sparked an uproar in her comment section leaving her followers with divided opinions.
Men backed her with some saying it is not only in Kampala, but the situation is similar in the whole of Uganda whereas the ladies were against her view.
