Uganda men’s 7s international and KOBs Rugby Club back Adrian Kasito has embarked on a professional career with Rugby Club Tricastin in France. He joins Tricastin for the 2024-25 season.

The development was first reported by Grace Lindsay Mbabazi on Tuesday morning.

Kasito joined KOBs fresh from high school at St Mary’s College Kisubi in 2013. He won three XVs league titles, three Uganda Cup titles, and five Uganda national 7s series with the KOBs.

He made his Uganda Rugby Cranes debut in 2019 and has toured with the men’s 7s national team since 2017. He is a four-time Rugby Africa Men’s 7s champion, the latest of which he clinched last month in Mauritius.

In France, Kasito joins fellow 7s international Philip Wokorach who hinted at his move in an interview with the press during last week’s 2024 men’s Rugby Africa Cup.
