Cricket Cranes star batter Robinson Obuya starred with bat in hand with a dominant 94 that included 11 fours and six maximums in the morning result while Captain Hamu Kayondo (40 not out) was supported by Juma Miyagi (36) and Charles Mushemeza (41) as the hosts picked up their second win of the day.

The Ceylon Lions are close to securing a place in the knockouts.

The chasing pack in the same group continued to trade blows. JACC and Rounders shared spoils in Jinja. JACC picked up the result in the morning while Rounders, led by Pius Oloka (45), made sure they shared the spoils of the day.

JACC and Rounders tied on the same number of points but JACC is ahead due to a better Net Run Rate.

Wanderers moved into second place in Group B behind Patidar as they picked up their second consecutive victory against Nyakasura B. The youngsters pushed Wanderers in the morning game but they didn’t have the batting to push for the victory in the end a routine result for Uganda.

In the afternoon, Wanderers was in its element and put away the youngsters to complete the sweep for maximum points on the day.

Nyakasura B was on the wrong end of the result the next day against Patidar. Patidar won both games at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe. The wins for Patidar took them to the top of the table in Group B.

Tornado Bee missed an opportunity to put some daylight between them and Kutchi Tigers. A wet field at the Florida Oval in Katosi was only fit enough to allow one game. Tornado Bee won the only possible game by 9 wickets to stay top of Group A.

KC Budo picked up their first points of the T20 season with big wins against Nile. Micheal Ndiko, a new addition to the Budo team, was the catalyst for the performances with some power-hitting that ensured that Budo got the victories. Nile is still stuck at the bottom of the table of Group A.
