Zex Bilangilangi claims music politics still rules the industry, stifling new talent

Fire Base crew singer Zex Bilangilangi says not much has changed about the music industry from how it was years ago.
He states that the music politics that used to transpire years back are still ongoing, which has led to many talents getting stuck and thus failing to make it to the main stage and ending up disappearing.
A lot hasn’t changed in the music industry, like the politics involved in it. Many talented youths’ careers just fade like that and disappear in thin air.

He also bragged about being one of the artists who do good music noting that he takes time working on a song before he considers it to be released.
The “Ratata” singer also called out fellow artists, criticizing them for not doing music that inspires the young generation to join the music industry anymore.
Speaking about mental health issues that affect fellow creatives in the arts industry, he noted that almost the whole industry is depressed.
Individually, I do good music because I take my time before I release a song. The other thing is that we no longer do music that inspires the youth to do music. Most of the people in the industry are depressed.
