FreeBoy Adams reveals inspiration behind “Kwata Essimu”

It enjoyed massive air rotation both on mainstream and online music streaming platforms thanks to its catchy phrases and lyrics that FreeBoy and Nwagi creatively composed.
Speaking in an interview, FreeBoy spoke up about the inspiration behind the song. 
In a hilarious way, he disclosed that he crafted the song in a joking way after having fun with his girlfriend the night that opened his creative juices.
I had some good sex, a good one. I don’t know, my mind just some kind opened and I started singing and it was like a joke. I was just basically singing for this girl. She then told me that it was a good sound that I could come up with a hit, and I have the recording.
There is magic, but some people don’t want to talk about it, but sex is therapy. Sex can open up your mind. With me on that day when ‘Kwata Essimu’ was written, for sure, it was good sex. Yes, I felt alive. I was in my skin.
