Ykee Benda engaged in a scuffle with security officers just minutes before his performance at the weekend’s All VIP Miss Uganda beauty pageant finale.
The Kampala Sheraton Hotel Gardens event began when Ykee Benda was asked to remove his hat and undergo a security check, a standard procedure for all attendees.
Ykee Benda refused to comply with the security protocols for reasons he did not disclose.
What started as a verbal disagreement quickly escalated into a physical fight, with punches being thrown by both sides.
During the scuffle, Ykee Benda, visibly upset, boasted about his status and threatened the officers, claiming he could get them fired for embarrassing him in front of his companion and the onlookers.
Despite the commotion, Ykee Benda was eventually allowed into the hotel gardens. However, the head of security, who was not present during the initial confrontation, was displeased with this decision.
He ordered his team to find Ykee Benda and eject him from the premises for violating security rules but were unsuccessful, and Ykee Benda managed to take the stage and perform.
