- Morning: Wanderers 100/9 beat Tornado 29 all out by 71 runs
- Afternoon: Wanderers 113/7 beat Tornado 68/9 by 45 runs
Tornado Bee v ACC
- Tornado Bee 199/5 beat ACC 31/9 by 168 runs
Wanderers continued to push for a knockout place in the Women’s T20 League with two wins that got them close to table leaders Olila CC.
Naome Kayondo (46) continued her fine form with the bat as she inspired Wanderers to a good total in the morning after suffering a collapse and a fine bowling performance helped them clean out Tornado for just 29.
In the afternoon, the victory was routine as Wanderers picked up maximum points to move into second place.
The wins more or less guarantee Wanderers a second-place finish in Group B behind table leaders Olila CC.
In the other game, Teddy Oyella (87) top-scored for Tornado Bee who posted the highest team total of the season as they put ACC to the sword. In the run chase, ACC was not a match for the more experienced Tornado Bee side as they romped to the biggest victory of the season so far.
Tornado Bee are in the race to finish among the top 2 in an open Group A. Jinja SS and Soroti City are still ahead of them but in touching distance with just one round of play left.
