Vipers SC Secure Signature of Usama Arafat

Vipers SC have confirmed the signing of winger Usama Arafat Kiza on a three-year deal, adding more firepower to their squad ahead of a busy season.

The 21-year-old joins the Uganda Premier League champions after running down his contract with rivals KCCA FC.

Usama’s arrival marks Vipers’ seventh signing of the current transfer window, a statement of intent as the Venoms aim to strengthen their grip on the domestic scene while making strides on the continental stage.

During his time at KCCA, Usama built a reputation as a consistent attacking threat.

He netted seven goals and provided six assists in 23 appearances last season.

He was also part of Uganda’s CHAN 2025 squad that reached the quarterfinals.

At Kitende, Usama joins a new-look squad that already includes Hney, Chukwuma, Mark Yallah, Kevin Dasylva Bady, Taddeo Lwanga, Ashraf Mandela and Enock Ssebaggala.

The Winger, will don his favourite number 27 shirt, winger is expected to link up with his new teammates after Vipers’ CAF Champions League clash with African Stars FC of Namibia on Friday.
