2025/26 FUFA Big League fixtures released

The Competitions Department at FUFA has released the fixtures for the 2025/26 FUFA Big League 2025/26 which is the second division on the men’s football pyramid.

The season will officially commence on Sunday 28th September 2025 with matches taking place across the country.

The opening day will witness a West Nile derby with Paidha Black Angels SC facing Nebbi Central FC at Bar Okoro Stadium in Zombo district.

Blacks Power FC will take on Onduparaka FC at their new home, Ebenezer University Playground in Lira City. Ntugasaze FC will face Kiyinda Boys FC at Mityana Ssaza Ground, new comers CATDA FC will take on Kigezi Homeboyz FC at Bugolobi Coffee Grounds.

Another new comer in Iganga United FC will take on Mbale Heroes FC at Iganga Ssaza Grounds, Wakiso Giants FC will play Young Elephant FC at Kabaka Kyabagu Stadium, Kaaro Karungi FC will host Bunyaruguru United FC at Kyamate Play Ground in Ntungamo while Kataka FC will welcome Soltilo Bright Stars FC to Mbale City Stadium.

It should be noted that with the changes in the playing format of the top tier League (Uganda Premier League), only the top two teams will qualify automatically while the third placed team will have to go through a relegation/promotion playoff against the team that finishes in 14th place in the Uganda Premier League.
