Vipers confirm Usama Arafat’s transfer from KCCA
Agile and electric forward Usama Arafat has finally been unveiled by Uganda champions Vipers SC.
The development was confirmed via the club’s official social media platforms today Monday, September 15, 2025.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome Usama Arafat to Vipers,” the statement partly reads.
Usama has joined Vipers SC as a free agent after leaving KCCA, where he rose to prominence after transferring from regional side Kajjansi United.
Usama has transferred from the Lugogo-based side to Kitende. This move is unlikely to sit well with the Lugogo faithful, who are still recovering from Allan Okello’s surprising transfer.
Usama returns to a familiar territory since he studied from St Mary’s Secondary School, Kitende, a school that has moulded several talents.
