Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) has announced that they will hold elections on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
This was confirmed during the USPA monthly meeting held at Uganda Olympic Committee offices on Monday, October 7.
USPA president Moses Alysaed Lubega assured the members that the association is on the right track and that a lot is happening behind the curtain.
“We took a break to renegotiate all the contracts for the betterment of USPA members, and we are to see better packages for the association,” he stated.
“We are coming back with awards and the annual gala early next year.What we have done this year is to clear the debts of the Association before we came into office, and we managed to do so,” he added.
“We have managed to negotiate scholarships with Clarke International University for our members, and we are negotiating with secondary schools for our children.”
In the same breath, he called upon the association members to discipline and vowed not to accept any indiscipline matter that puts the association in disrepute.
