Usama Arafat eager to make positive impact at Vipers


Usama Arafat is the latest addition to the double Uganda Champions as they strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
The quick-footed Usama put pen to a three-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.
While speaking to the club media, Usama has promised to greatly contribute to Vipers, a club that has achieved a lot.
“Joining Vipers means growth for me as a player, gaining more exposure, and contributing to the legacy of a team that has achieved a lot,” he stated.
“It’s an opportunity to challenge myself at the highest level in Uganda, compete for trophies and represent the club in continental football,” he added.
In the same spirit, Usama is confident to start training so that he is capable of making a positive impact for the Kitende-based club.
“I am eager to get started, train hard, and make a positive impact for Vipers SC. The support from the fans, the club’s management and my teammates will be crucial in making this a successful tenure,” he concluded.
Usama’s creativity, flair and quick feet are expected to add another dimension to the Vipers’ attacking ahead of a busy campaign.
