Team Ageno emerged victorious in the 2025 All-Star Women’s Tournament, securing a 52-48 win against Team Akamwada.

The event, held at the Lugogo Indoor Arena, featured a thrilling game with a vibrant atmosphere, highlighted by stellar performances from King Saha and Vinka.

Team Ageno managed to defend the tournament title after reaching the same feat in 2024.

Agatha Akamwada made two long-range shots beyond the arc, helping to tie the game at 12-12 after the first quarter.

Amy Chan led Team Ageno’s offensive charge, helping them establish a seven-point lead (26-19) going into halftime.

Sarah Ageno came off the bench to sink a crucial three-pointer, extending Team Ageno’s lead to 10 points (26-36) midway through the third quarter.

Despite a strong fightback from Team Akamwada in the third quarter, Team Ageno finished the period with a six-point advantage, leading 39-33.

Team Ageno held firm in the final quarter, ultimately securing a four-point victory in front of a loud and enthusiastic crowd.
