Republicans react—poorly—to Biden dropping out of race
Following President Joe Biden’s decision to not run for reelection, the Democratic Party’s response has predictably focused on his administration’s successes. However, the Grand Old Party of Donald Trump took a different tact, mixing deep-state conspiracy theories with revisionist history and general cruelty. Starting with the convicted felon Donald Trump: Crooked Joe Biden is the Worst President, by far, in the History of our Nation. He has done everything possible to destroy our Country, from our Southern Border, to Energy Dominance, National Security, International Standing, and so much more. He was annihilated in an Earth Shattering Debate, and now the Corrupt and Radical Democrats are throwing him overboard. He was not fit to serve from the very beginning, but the people around him lied to America about his Complete and Total Mental, Physical, and Cognitive Demise. Whoever the Left puts up now will just be more of the same. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! House Speaker Mike Johnson: At this unprecedented juncture in American history, we must be clear about what just happened. The Democrat Party forced the Democrat nominee off the ballot, just over 100 days before the election. Having invalidated the votes of more than 14 million Americans who selected Joe Biden to be the Democrat nominee for president, the self-proclaimed ‘party of democracy’ has proven exactly the opposite. The party’s prospects are no better now with Vice President Kamala Harris, who co-owns the disastrous policy failures of the Biden Administration. As second in command and a completely inept border czar, Harris has been a gleeful accomplice — not only in the destruction of American sovereignty, security, and prosperity, but also in the largest political coverup in U.S. history. She has known for as long as anyone of his incapacity to serve. Regardless of the chaos in the current White House, our adversaries around the globe should be reminded that the U.S. Congress, the U.S. military, and the American people are fully prepared and committed to defend our interests both at home and abroad. If Joe Biden is not fit to run for President, he is not fit to serve as President. He must resign the office immediately. November 5 cannot arrive soon enough. Rep. Rep. Brian Mast: Kamala Harris believes that illegal aliens crossing our southern border unlawfully should not be treated as CRIMINALS. This was Joe Biden’s “Border Czar” for the past four years. Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez: If Joe Biden isn’t capable enough to seek re-election, he’s not capabale [sic] enough to remain serving as our President. For the good of the country, [Joe Biden] should step down and resign. Sen. Lisa Murkowski took a more subdued tack: I respect President Biden’s decision to act in the best interest of the country by stepping aside in the 2024 presidential election. Former Rep. Liz Cheney did as well: The framers of our Constitution knew that our republic would endure only if our presidents have the character and honor to put duty ahead of self interest.

The framers of our Constitution knew that our republic would endure only if our presidents have the character and honor to put duty ahead of self interest. President Biden deserves our gratitude for his decades of service to our nation and for his courageous decision today.
The Make America Great Again Inc super PAC made sure to scratch the record on that sentiment, though:
Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe's obvious mental decline. Kamala knew Joe couldn't do the job, so she did it. Look what she got done: a border invasion, runaway inflation, the American Dream dead.
Kamala Harris is equally responsible for every single one of Joe Biden’s disastrous policies and failures. From the deadly wide open border to sky high prices on the American people — she has walked in lockstep with him since the day they took office.
