Ahead of his concert scheduled for 9th August 2024 at the Kampala Serena Hotel, renowned band singer Hajji Haruna Mubiru was dealt a blow.

A photo showing a man’s nudity circulated online on Thursday followed by allegations that the singer had shared it on his WhatsApp status mistakenly while sending it to a female.

The photo which had Haruna Mubiru‘s name as the contact made rounds on different social media platforms, igniting criticisms against the singer.

To some, it was a mistake indeed while to others, it could have been a stunt.

Haruna Mubiru, however, maintains that neither the photo nor the narrative belongs to him. The singer strongly denied the allegations during an interview.

The First Class singer strongly stated that it was not him in the photo and that he had not posted anything of the sort on his status.

He claimed that the image might have been engineered by someone.

He also trashed the narrative that he could have released the photo as a stunt ahead of his concert.

I wasn’t in that picture, and nothing like that was on my status. I can’t do such a thing. I don’t need a stunt for my concert’s success. It might be artificial intelligence, and whoever did it has their own intentions.
