Vastly experienced defender Pascal Irasa will feature in the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League at Masindi based Booma Football Club.
Irasa, a well built and tall defender has virtually seen it all having featured at a number of football entities as Mbale Tigres Soccer Academy, Mbale Heroes, Ndejje University, Ntinda United, Paidha Black Angels, Kiboga Young, Kigezi Homeboyz, Luwero United and lately Wakiso Giants.
Now at Booma Football Club, Irasa yearns to put up a desired A-performance in all the matches with the prime objective of having the club promoted to the Uganda Premier League.
“My target is to finish the season on the top of the table and to promote Booma Football Club to the super league” he asserts.
Irasa has also set aside personal goals as scoring more than five goals, ensuring clean sheet results for Booma to become the best defender, being summoned to the CHAN team and attaining a better deal at the end of the season.
My target is that by the end of the season I get a better deal. I also want to score more than 5 goals this season and bring more clean sheets. At the apex of it all, I want to lure the eyes of the national team selectors for the CHAN tournament.

Irasa points to a number of hitches that he has experienced in the FUFA Big League over the years.
“The FUFA Big League is very competitive I must admit and the games are too many yet we travel very long distances in the West, South West (Kabale), East, North and West Nile (Nile). Of course, at times officiation has not been good especially when you play away from home” he confesses.
Booma Football Club will commence the 2024-2025 season with a home duel against Blacks Power at the Masindi Stadium on Saturday, 12th October 2024.
