Our Perfect Wedding Uganda returns to Pearl Magic Prime this Sunday

Our Perfect Wedding Uganda (OPW) is set to make a grand return to Pearl Magic Prime starting Saturday, October 4, at 8 PM.

From surprise proposals to cultural ceremonies that honour heritage, OPW Uganda is back with Season 7 to remind us why every love story deserves a spotlight, and every wedding is a masterpiece.

“This show is a celebration of love in its purest form,” says Mariam Ndagire, the show’s executive producer.

“It’s about honouring our traditions, embracing our diversity and showcasing the beauty of Ugandan weddings to the world.”

Each episode follows a couple’s journey to the altar, capturing the emotional highs, the behind-the-scenes hustle and the unforgettable moments that make weddings so special. Whether it’s a bride walking down the aisle in a custom “Gomesi” or a groom surprising his bride with a flash mob proposal, OPW Uganda delivers the kind of real-life romance that keeps viewers coming back for more.

“Our Perfect Wedding Uganda is more than just a reality show. It’s a cultural mirror,” says Margaret Mathore, channel head at M-Net.

And it’s not just about couples. The show also shines a light on Uganda’s booming wedding industry, from décor and fashion to photography and entertainment, giving vendors and creatives a platform to showcase their craft.
