NRM Delegates From Nakapiripirit, Napak, Moroto, Nabilatuk, Amudat Districts & Moroto Municipality Back Mr Calvin Echodu For Vice Chairperson Eastern Uganda

Calvin Echodu, aspiring to become the NRM Vice Chairperson for the Eastern Region, concluded his campaign tour of the Karamoja sub-region this Saturday afternoon with a powerful wave of support and endorsement from party delegates and local leaders.

Covering the districts of Nakapiripirit, Napak, Moroto, Nabilatuk, Amudat, and Moroto Municipality, Echodu’s tour was a key element of his broader strategy to engage the grassroots ahead of the party’s internal elections. During the visit, he met with delegates, youth representatives, and community mobilizers, laying out his vision for an inclusive and people-centered party leadership.

In a unified declaration, delegates from across these districts endorsed Echodu’s candidacy for the Central Executive Committee (CEC), citing his dedication to local engagement and a proven track record of service within the party.

“We believe in his leadership and his ability to represent the unique concerns of our region at the national level,” remarked a delegate from Napak. “He has shown that he listens, understands our challenges, and is willing to act.”

Buoyed by the enthusiastic reception, Echodu expressed deep gratitude to the people of southern Karamoja, promising to advocate for development and ensure that marginalized voices are heard within the party framework.

“Karamoja is not just a frontier region—it’s the heartbeat of Uganda’s resilience and potential. I am honored by your support and I will not let you down,” Echodu declared to an energized crowd in Moroto Municipality.

With the race for CEC heating up, support from Karamoja gives Echodu a critical boost, reinforcing his campaign’s momentum and expanding his influence on the national stage.

His campaign now shifts to the Teso sub-region, where excitement is already building among NRM supporters.
