“My Paternal Grandmother Cursed Our Family With Illnesses and Poverty”

Since I was a child, my family seemed to face one problem after another. My parents were constantly sick, and my siblings and I were frequently ill too, struggling to understand even simple lessons at school. I could not comprehend why misfortune followed us so closely, especially since there were times we went days without food because my parents could not afford to provide for us.

I lost two of my brothers after they fell ill, and it seemed I was also close to death because of a stomach condition that made it difficult to eat, leaving me extremely weak. My mother suffered from high blood pressure, while my father had been in an accident that left him without legs. My other two siblings were also very sick. We relied heavily on the kindness of neighbors and well-wishers to provide food and pay for medical bills.

One day last year, my mother’s sister visited us and was heartbroken at the state we were living in. She suggested that it was very likely we had been bewitched because our problems seemed far too overwhelming to be natural.To Continue Reading, Click Here
