Mami Deb, whose real name is Deborah Nantongo, now goes by Deborah Cleave after marrying Michael Cleave. The couple has been together for years, but Deborah shared an unexpected experience involving Michael’s ex-wife.
Before Deborah and Michael met, he had been married to another woman, Louise, for 23 years.
Deborah revealed that she had never expected to encounter Louise in person, let alone at her doorstep. But one day, that’s exactly what happened.
It’s so strange. She came and introduced herself to me. She just knocked at our house, and Michael was shocked to even see her.
He said, ‘Oh, Debbie, this is Louise, my ex-wife.’
Initially, Deborah admitted she wasn’t sure how to react.
At first, I gave her the look—like, what are you doing here?
However, Michael invited Louise to stay so they could find out why she had come. That’s when Louise explained her unexpected visit.
She told me the kids had mentioned that Michael was dating someone really young, and she wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
