The Division One 50-Over league Kutchi Tigers started their conquest for a season double with a comprehensive win on the road against Jinja SS.

The only high-scoring game of the weekend as the league winners put the hosts to the sword. The two wins keep them in touch with Group A leaders Tornado Bee.

Tornado Bee battled Kings College Budo in two low-scoring games at the lakeside oval in Entebbe. The morning game was reduced to just six overs due to a wet outfield but that never stopped them from ensuring the result goes their way. Tornado Bee bowlers dominated the day with Anas Baig (3/7), Musa Majid (3/14) and Ismail Munir (3/14) outstanding with ball on the day.

Nyakasura took charge of Group D with a nervous win against Premier at Lugogo. Premier ran the youngsters close in both games but the youngsters were able to hold their nerve and pick maximum points. The group includes Soroti City and Avengers therefore fighting for the top two places is going to be a tough assignment.

Patidar conquered SKLPS at the Serenity Oval in Kamengo to move to the top of Group C. SKLPS has now lost both of their games this season so far.
