It was even more remarkable that Prabhsimran had performed this in good time. The Jalandhar captain posted a century in a massive run chase, hours after he was dropped from India's T20I team for the Afghanistan series. He reached his half century in 16 balls and his hundred in 41 deliveries!

Prabhsimran’s 125 came from 47 balls and included 14 fours and eight sixes. His strike rate was an extraordinary 265.96, making the innings a near-perfect example of aggressive T20 batting.

Warriors Attack a Target of 265

Amritsar Soormas had posted 264/5 after an outstanding batting display. Abhishek Sharma scored 82 from 36 balls, while Naman Dhir smashed 117 from 56 deliveries, including 10 sixes and seven fours.

That total would normally create enormous pressure in a T20 chase. Jalandhar, however, attacked from the opening overs. The Warriors reached 103/1 in the powerplay, putting the required rate under immediate pressure.
