Namubiru felt bad for not doing anything to comfort the fan and apologized for not touching or acknowledging her.
She also mentions that she did not think she was a big star at the time.
I visited a supermarket in Kisementi. As I was going through what I was buying a girl approached me and started crying. I just stared at her as I didn’t know what she was crying for. It was later that I realised she was starstruck and I felt so bad that I didn’t do anything.
I had no idea fans would just see you and start crying out of the blue. When I returned home I felt hurt by it, I should have at least touched her or something. If she is watching, I ask her to forgive me because I didn’t think I was that big of a star at the time. Iryn Namubiru told Galaxy TV
