Popular comedian, actor, and media personality Amooti Omubalanguzi says that the initial plan for his forthcoming show was to organize it at the Mandela National Stadium (Namboole).

Amooti Omubalanguzi, real name Allan Mujuni, will celebrate 25 years in the comedy industry with a mega show.

The event dubbed “25 Years of Amooti” will happen on the 13th of December 2024 at the UMA Showgrounds in Lugogo.

The New Amarula Productions boss claims that he would have loved to organize the event at a bigger venue but the promoters he had planned with could not take the bold step.

Therefore, he settled for Cyclon Events, which showed more interest in booking UMA Showgrounds for the show and is ready to put up a memorable showcase for his fans.

So far, the promoter in charge of my show has only managed to book for that particular venue (UMA Showgrounds). I had other promoters who wanted to put the show at Serena Hotel Kampala, among other venues, but they weren’t making the final decision. I would rather deal with a decisive person although the initial plan was to organize this at Namboole (Mandela National Stadium).
