Pastor Martin Ssempa pleads for security protection after assassination threats

Outspoken city Pastor, Martin Ssempa, has pleaded to security authorities to come to his defense following assassination threats he has been receiving in recent days.

Going by his X account (Formerly Twitter), he explained that since Saturday the past week, his neighbors in Jungo, Kasanje have been alerting him about how three men riding on a boda boda were canvassing his home past midnight looking for him.

He adds that there have been roadblocks near his home and an attempt to break into his farm.

Pastor Ssempa says he is fed up with strangers who seem to be tracking his location and this has forced him to switch off his phones and go into hiding.

He suspects that the individuals looking for him could be linked to the LGBTQ groups who sent him huge chunks of files ahead of the annual Uganda anti-sodomy law.

He has asked his well-wishers to keep him in prayer because he is living in fear.

Since Saturday night last week, My neighbors in Jungo Kasanje are telling me that a group of three men on boda boda are cavansing my home neighborhood after midnight apparently looking for me. One has gun and they seem to be on an assassination mission. Roadblocks, Attempted break in to my farm, etc.

I also got tired of calls of strangers who seem to be trying to track my location. So I have switched off my phones and gone into my bunker for a few days. I really dont know why they want to kill me or bomb me.

Is it because of my defense of Ugandas anti sodomy law? Last week I got served with a large volume of files from the LGBTQ groups which want to annul Uganda anti sodomy law. I dont know if its connected. Please Keep me in your prayers and someone tell the @PoliceUg@cdfupdf who I cant reach now.
