Big Talent Entertainment boss Edriisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo gave his reasons why he quit the Firebase crew camp where he started his music career.

Speaking in an interview, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) President explained that he was forced to do so because Bobi Wine was allegedly copying his songs.

He cited that when Bobi Wine fell in love with the “Yanimba” which he recorded with Mikie Wine and became a nationwide hit, Bobi also went to the studio and recorded “Promise”, a song he says sounds like his.

He also said that when he released “Sonyiwa Muno”, Bobi Wine again hit the studio and dropped “Wesotinge” which also had a similar rhythm.

Eddy Kenzo stressed that when that happened twice, he decided that it was time to quit Firebase and he had to pursue a career elsewhere, leaving Kamwokya to settle in Makindye.
