Vipers are looking to strengthen their technical staff by adding ex-Wakiso Giants coach John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda, Kawowo Sports has learnt.

The six-time champions have had an indifferent start to the season winning once, drawing and losing as many.

Ayala is expected to be named as the first assistant to Serbian Nikola Kavazovic with Fred Muhumuzza the other assistant as well.

The highly rated but humble Ayala has garnered experience in his short spell having worked under top coaches George ‘Best’ Nsimbe, Abdallah Mubiru and Mike Mutebi.

He spent the last two seasons with Purple Sharks on his own and it was during the spell that the Wakissha based side played the most entertaining football in the league.

Ayala is expected to start work next week in what will be his second stint at the club and could be available when Vipers host champions SC Villa on Saturday next week.
