Over the weekend, over five music shows happened around Kampala. Artists including Qing Madi, Mikie Wine, Gravity Omutujju, and Awilo Longomba, among many others held concerts at different venues around the city.
The clash of concerts on the same dates has been ongoing for quite a while in the local industry. Music promoters including Biggie have spoken against them, asking their respective promoters’ bodies to solve the issue.
As the issue continues to be dissected, Catherine Kusasira has picked 10th January – the same date Spice Diana’s concert is already scheduled – for her concert.
Dubbed “The Roots of Catherine Kusasira”, Kusasira’s concert will happen at the Sheraton Kampala Gardens.
At the Serena Hotel Kampala, Spice Diana will also be holding her live concert in which she intends to mark ten years in the music industry.
Kusasira maintains that she is ready to hold a mega concert that will leave lasting memories for her fans.
