On a bright Sunday morning, corporate participants gathered for the fifth outing of the Corporate Games on July 14th, 2024.

Determined and undeterred, they competed in the 100 meters and the 4×100 meters relay with a passion to win for their companies.

Medals were awarded to the winners of both the male and female 100 meters races,

Besides running, the other disciplines included football and netball.

Allan Tumshabe, the country manager of betPawa, graced the event as the chief guest to launch Corporate Run 2024.

This event, scheduled for the 7th outing of the Corporate Games, aims to support maternal health improvements in the country, particularly focusing on expectant mothers.

Thanks to the partnership with our sponsors and members of the Corporate Games, mama kits will be provided to four health centers across northern, western, eastern, and central Uganda.

The Corporate Games has partnered with betPawa to promote responsible gaming and a healthy, active lifestyle within the corporate community.

The participation of numerous top executives in the 4th outing served as preparation for the upcoming CEO’s outing scheduled for August 11th, 2024.

The guest of honor commended Corporate Games Uganda for spearheading this remarkable initiative that fosters unity among companies through sports.

He emphasized the benefits of the games, highlighting their capacity to facilitate networking among corporations, promote physical fitness, and create social and business networks.

Dr. Joseph Byamugisha, Deputy Secretary-General of the Uganda Medical Association, demonstrated strategic prowess as he led his team to victory in soccer, showcasing the power of unity and coordination.

The netball court pulsed with excitement as teams vied for dominance. Players exhibited intense throws and scoring, with Mrs. Caroline Papauko, Internal Audit Manager from Total Energies Uganda, displaying remarkable leadership and guiding her team to victory with passion and determination.

Amidst the games, friendships were strengthened as players from different companies cheered each other on and shared moments of sportsmanship and respect.

The Corporate Games continues to serve as a platform for teamwork, leadership, and a healthy life within the corporate community.

Looking ahead, the 6th outing is scheduled for August 14th, 2024, named The CEO Outing, where over 30 top executives from participating companies will lead their teams in a fun-filled sports day with games according to the sports calendar.
