It is official. The 2024 CHAN tournament will be hosted jointly by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania between 1st to 28th February 2025.

This development was confirmed by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) on Monday, 16th September 2024 after an executive committee meeting in Nairobi, Kenya.

This tournament that accommodates only players featuring in the domestic leagues of the respective African countries will feature 19 countries.

The confirmed cities to host the tournament include Nairobi, Kampala and Dar es Salaam where the stadia and other amenities are found.

With the AFCON 2027 tournament already confirmed for Kenya, Uganda and Dar es Salaam, the CHAN 2024 championship will be a perfect precursor for the aforementioned countries.

The main stadia where the matches will be played in all the three host countries are ready with final polishing on the training amenities.
