The Uganda Premier League secretariat has released fixtures for the 2024/25 season. The new campaign will commence on Friday, 13th September with KCCA FC hosting URA FC at MTN-Omondi Stadium.
Matchday One will spread across four days (from Friday to Monday) with a double header on Saturday at Hamz Stadium- Nakivubo where Lugazi FC will face Kitara FC while Express FC will take on new entrants, Mbale Heroes.
On Sunday, Wakiso Giants FC will host Soltilo Bright Stars FC, Maroons FC will be at home to NEC FC while Vipers SC will take on UPDF FC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Matchday One will climax on Monday with new comers Police FC hosting BUL FC while reigning Champions SC Villa will start their title defence at home to Mbarara City FC.
In some of the changes seen, BUL FC have shifted their home base to Lugazi and will be hosting matches at the home of Lugazi FC.
Equally, SC Villa have moved to Mandela National Stadium and ditched Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
On the other hand, Kitara FC have shifted from Masindi Municipal Stadium to The Royals Park in Butema, Hoima.
The League is expected to end on 24th May 2025.
