Wakiso Giants have announced Zambian Erick Kabamba as their first signing of the current transfer window.

The winger has signed a two-year contract according to the statement released by the club on their official media pages.

Kabamba has previously played for Zambia’s Kabwe Warriors and Buildcon and also had a stint in Tanzania with Young Africans.

The Purple Sharks are expected to have more new arrivals joining Kabamba after losing several players so far with many still expected to leave.

The club also confirmed ex-player Steven Bengo and legendary Tonny Mawejje as the new coaching combo to steer the club.

Meanwhile, the club is expected to get in 2-3 foreign players on loan from Young Africans with the two sides having a cordial relationship.

Other expected new faces include midfielder Nicholas Kasozi as well as former Vipers winger Denis Mwemwezi.
