Why Lil Pazo stays away from relationships with female artists

Singer Yasin Mukasa, popularly known by his stage name Lil Pazo, has opened up about his firm stance on dating fellow musicians, especially female artists in Uganda’s vibrant music scene.

The “Emotoka” hitmaker, known for his candid personality, revealed that he steers clear of romantic relationships with female artists for one very specific reason, they’re too demanding.

He explained that relationships between artists are often short-lived and tend to crumble under the weight of unrealistic expectations.

The singer further elaborated that being romantically involved with a female celebrity comes with a long list of financial responsibilities—makeup, food, luxury items—all of which can easily become overwhelming.

I can never date a female musician. That love or relationship can’t last because artists thirst for so many things that one might fail to provide.

You have to cater for her makeup, feeding her…and they sometimes ask for expensive things. You might even end up stealing.

According to him, the pressure to keep up with such expectations could push someone into making questionable decisions just to keep their partner happy.
