KCCA will seek to overturn the first leg deficit when they host Kitara in the second leg of the Fufa Super 8 quarter final at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

Denis Omedi scored the only goal in the first half of the contest on Saturday at the same venue despite the Kasasiro dominating the game especially in the second half.

“To our fans, we are still building and we are just three weeks into the pre-season training but we want to win and will do everything to overturn the result,” said Abdallah Mubiru.

In addition to Steven Munguchi and Ashraf Mugume, KCCA will miss Julius Ogwang and Abu Mayanja who also suffered knocks in the first leg.

KCCA must score at least once and not concede to keep chances of progress to the next stage.

Brian Ssenyondo will hope forwards Omedi, Fred Amaku and the like are lethal in front of goal but most importantly, the backline of Ronald Otti and company must be keen to prevent the hosts from netting.

In the other game on the day, NEC will host Vipers in the return leg with the tie evenly poised after a goalless draw at Kitende on Friday.
