Ronald Ssekiganda nears SC Villa departure

Lanky midfielder Ronald Ssekiganda is on the verge of leaving SC Villa ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Ssekiganda has become one of the most sought-after players as the busy transfer period approaches.
Reports indicate that the midfielder has attracted interest from Rwanda’s APR FC, a club that is already home to Uganda internationals Denis Omedi, Hakim Kiwanuka, and Taddeo Lwanga.
Ssekiganda’s contract with SC Villa is set to expire at the end of this season, while Lwanga’s contract at APR has not been renewed, prompting the club to look for a replacement.
Ssekiganda joined SC Villa in 2019, where his contributions have been vital. He played a key role in helping the club win its 17th league title.
The midfielder has also earned a regular spot in the national team, with his standout performance in Uganda’s 1-0 victory over Guinea at Namboole further cementing his reputation.
