Rezlife Saints secured a thrilling 63-57 victory over the Victoria University Crocs in the National Basketball League at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Wednesday.

It was a repeat of the Division One final, and once again, the Rezlife Saints emerged victorious.

The Victoria Crocs started strong, taking an eight-point lead (19-11) at the end of the first quarter and maintaining a five-point advantage (31-26) at halftime.

However, after the break, the Saints turned the tide. By the end of the third quarter, they had taken control with a five-point lead (44-39), setting up an intense final stretch.

Despite the Crocs’ efforts in the fourth quarter, they couldn’t close the gap, ultimately falling to the Saints by six points.

Acinbaai Takpinyi Apugi led the Saints with a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 22 points and grabbing 20 rebounds for a massive double-double.

For the Crocs, Choul Nyuot also posted a double-double with 10 points and 18 rebounds. Ronald Anyume (12 points) and Deng Gai Isaac Jioka (10 points) contributed to the Crocs’ fight, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Saints’ comeback.
