St Noa Girls School Zzana maintained their unbeaten run at the on-going 2024 USSSA Ball Games 2 in Soroti (Teso College Aloet).

A comprehensive 28-08 win over new kids on the block St Francis SS Busunju spurred the Entebbe Road based school to yet another victory.

Jamira Nansimbe (goal shooter), Tricia Nalumansi (goal attacker), Bridget Afoyorowoth (center) and Annet Nandagala (Goal defender) were outstanding for St Noa Girls school.

St Francis SS Busunju displayed a gallant fight, through Lydia Nakiyimba’s goal scoring exploits alongside goal-attacker Rovian Oyurwoth, center Berinda Ashemeire and goalkeeper Hamidah Batenga.

St Francis SS Busunju had earlier defeated Iganga SS 37-19 and that convincing 32-01 win over Moroto SS.

Robert Maiso, the head coach of St Francis SS Busunju is optimistic that will qualify for the knockout round.

“We are hopeful that we shall progress to the knockout round. The players are determined” Maiso stated.

The matches continue on Saturday with match day four as the schools are targeting qualification to the round of 16.

Besides netball, the USSSA Ball Games 2 include athletics, volleyball, rugby 7’s, handball and basketball (3X3).
