Nash Wonder’s six-year journey to success in music production

Renowned music producer, Nash Wonder, born Enock Kubeerwa, who hails from Mbale, and is now based in Kira, Kampala, has opened up about how long it took him to make a breaththrough on the entertainment scene.

Speaking to Spark TV, Nash Wonder stressed that it took him close to six years to become a popular producer at a time when his colleagues were asking him to quit music production because the profession wasn’t yielding results.

Due to persistence and self-motivation, he landed a hit song when he recorded Roden Y Kabako’s “Mbalaba Bulabi” in 2012 while working at Monster studio and the song also got him connected to the dynamic duo of Radio and Weasel.

In the same year, he worked on Sheebah’s “Ice Cream” song, and Kalifah AgaNaga’s “Ndabilawa” which became a hit in 2013 and broke the glass ceiling for the Bad Character Records boss to become a renowned musician.

Nash Wonder went on to record, produce, master, and mix several artists’ songs including, “Oyiitangayo” by Kalifah, “Hellena” by Radio and Weasel, “Zero Distance” by Anita Da Diva, and “Dance Well” by Patoranking, and DJ Shiru, among many other sweet jams that most of you grooved too.

Based on his experience in production, Nash Wonder urges music producers who are yet to establish names for themselves in showbiz not to lose hope reasoning that their moment to shine is coming. He tipped them to just keep on doing the right thing.
