Midfielder Rashid Mukungu and forward Raymond Derrick Onyai each penned a two-year deal at PE Sports Club in Abu Dhabi.
This is a third division club that is run professionally and a big platform for the duo to acclimatize to the full pro step up of elite football.
These two Ugandans trained with the club and largely impressed the technical dockets.
They were then subjected to the medicals, mandatory for all professional footballers before being accorded the employment contracts for the duty at hand.
“It is humbling that I was signed by PE Sports Club in the Abu Dhabi. I want to really work hard in training sessions and produce my A performance week in, week out to see the club promoted to the next level as I also get elevated” Mukungu who last featured at Gaddafi Football Club remarks.
Onyai, a former Uganda U-20 player and lately at Police Football Club aspires to utilize the Abu Dhabi opportunity as a spring board to spur further his career.
“These are the baby steps. I am honoured to be here. The entire family at PE Sports Club has been supportive and welcoming. I promise to deliver to the best of my expectations as I climb higher steps in my career” Onyai, formerly at Kataka and Mbarara City asserts.
PE Sports Club has already had their first game with dream debuts for Onyai and Mukungu.
