Renowned talent manager and promoter Joab Nuwagaba, known by most as Joab Pro, gave charity to the less privileged people in Kosovo on Tuesday.
Joab Pro is a TV Producer, and Gospel Music Promoter something he has done since 2012. He is the longest serving gospel music promoter in Uganda.
He represents promoters and managers on the Federation of Gospel Artists Uganda (FGAU).
He has worked with artists like Titus Kuteesa and Gabie Ntaate who also joined him in the charity drive in which he helped feed the people of Kosovo.
Speaking to Mbu, Joab Pro noted that it is a tradition he has always had to share with the less privileged on his birthday.
I always share with people on my birthday. I wanted to help the hungry people in the ghetto instead of staging a party on my day yet people are starving.
He was joined by Gabie Ntaate, Dorah Jimmyz of Salt TV, Deejay Giovanni of NBS, DJ Easy Samuel of Spirit TV, and other friends.
He gave out items including soap, rice, and sugar to single mothers and children.
Joab Pro says he is driven by his late mother who always shared the little she had with people of the community.
I lost my mum on my birthday in 2017. She was a generous woman who used to help a lot of people with anything to eat around the neighbourhood.
So for the love I had for her I decided to celebrate on the day I lost her, which is my birthday, with people.
