The late Evelyn Lagu’s son, Freddie Kasavu is facing one of the toughest times of his life just days after being discharged from rehabilitation center.
On his return, he paid a visit to the home that his mother left for her and upon reaching, he found when the rare part of the house was demolished.
When I went back home, I found that they had taken over the rear part of our house, the well, the water tank, all these were taken. I do not know why it happened but everything was destroyed.
The person behind the act is believed to be a property agent who deals in selling and buying land. The reason why he had to demolish a part of the late Evelyn Lagu’s home is not yet established.
According to Mr. Moses Bbosa Sserunkuma, a renowned actor who was a very close friend to Evelyn Lagu, they are still carrying out investigations on the matter.
In his submission, he noted how the late Evelyne Lagu had no debt on the land where her house was set up.
I heard about it and visited the place. We have not yet received answers as to why it happened and we are currently looking for the person responsible for that because the late was not under any debt over that land. It was fully paid for and there are supporting documents for all these.
