Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Chelsea star linked, Lacazette tipped for exit, Balogun talks
All the latest Arsenal transfer news with less than two weeks remaining of the transfer window
Arsenal have enjoyed a fine start to the season with two league wins and another victory in the Carabao Cup.
The Gunners are three from three but Mikel Arteta still isn't satisfied with his squad.
The Arsenal boss is desperate to strengthen his midfield with Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar earmarked as targets.
And they aren't the only players linked with a move to North London.
Below we have all the latest on the transfer front.
Shock move for Jorginho
Arsenal are keen on a move for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
That's according to Sky Sports, who report the Italy international has joined Partey and Aouar on Arsenal's shortlist.
The Gunners face the prospect of losing Lucas Torreira, who is expected to join Atletico Madrid during this window.
Arteta is understood to be keen to improve his midfield and experienced midfielder Jorginho could help him achieve that, though it's unclear whether the Blues are willing to lose him.
Sheffield United resume Balogun talks
Sheffield United are back in talks over a possible move for Gunners striker Folarin Balogun.
According to Yorkshire Live, talks have resumed after Arsenal rejected the Blades' initial bid of £3million plus add-ons.
Balogun only has one year remaining on his contract but Arsenal are said to want to less than £10million for him.
The 19-year-old was reportedly offered a new contract but keen to play more first-team football, he rejected the deal.
Lacazette could be sold after all
The Indipendent are reporting Arsenal could sell Alexandre Lacazette to raise money for the Houssem Aouar deal.
Arteta recently rejected similar claims with Lacazette declaring he wanted to stay with the Gunners.
But fresh reports claim the Gunners are exploring a sale as they look to figure out a way to afford Lyon star Aouar.
Lacazette only has two years remaining on his current Arsenal contract.
