Judith Heard extends support to Geosteady amid struggles with drug addiction

Socialite Judith Heard has expressed her heartfelt support for singer Geosteady, who is currently battling drug addiction.

Judith Heard took to X to share her concerns and prayers for the artist, urging the public to acknowledge the devastating effects of addiction not only on individuals but also on their families.

Geosteady has been absent from the public eye for a while. Reports of his struggles with addiction emerged last year, prompting his girlfriend and baby mama, Hindu Kay, to step in and seek professional help for him.

He was later admitted to a rehabilitation facility, but since then, little has been shared about his recovery progress. His last known social media activity was recorded on February 1st.

On his recent birthday, Geosteady’s ex-girlfriend, Minaj Maraj, took to Instagram to extend her wishes, writing:

Happiest Birthday HASSAN. Situka tutambule. Your fans miss your vocals.

This message seemed to touch many including Judith Heard, who used the opportunity to educate on the reality of addiction and its far-reaching impact.

In her post, Judith Heard recalled how much Geosteady’s talent had meant to her and many others in Uganda, making his struggles even more heartbreaking.

This is the pain that family members have to deal with when a loved one is battling addiction. This man Hassan (Geosteady) was one of my favorite artists in Uganda. His voice, his gift, his presence meant so much to many of us.

We don’t post this to shame but to remind everyone: addiction doesn’t just hurt the user. It hurts the whole family. Let’s stop glamorizing substances. Let’s stop watching people spiral in silence. Let’s start doing the real work of saving the next generation with truth, love, and accountability.
