How I Restored Peace at Home After Livestock Theft Threatened My Livelihood

My name is Mzee Robert, a resident of Kakamega County. I have reared livestock for many years. My homestead is home to cows, goats, and chickens. Farming has always been my source of livelihood. It sustains my family and pays school fees for my grandchildren. I have enjoyed a peaceful life with most neighbours, but everything changed over the past year.

Someone was stealing from me repeatedly.

I took the matter to the local chief and village elders. They assured me they would follow up, but the thefts continued.
