How a YUDA MP Conned Me Out of Kshs 100,000 in a Fake Gold Deal

My Experience with the Scam
It all began with a casual chat outside a petrol station in Bungoma. A sharply dressed man walked up and introduced himself. “I’m Hon. [name removed] from Yuda. I work closely with mining investors. You seem like a focused young man. Are you interested in a business opportunity?”
I was taken aback. A sitting Member of Parliament speaking directly to me?
We exchanged contacts. A few days later, he called to explain a business idea. “There’s gold available for a quick purchase in Kakamega. We can get it at a bargain and sell it to Dubai buyers for profit. I’ve done this before. I’ll link you.”
He sounded convincing. Spoke with authority. Even sent photos of gold bars and what looked like shipping documents. He said he needed Kshs 100,000 from me as part of the deposit to lock in the deal.
