From Bottom of the Class to Top Honors!! My Journey of Triumph

My name is Brian Katongole. I grew up in Masaka, Uganda, in a modest but warm-hearted family. My parents always worked tirelessly to ensure I received a good education. From early on, they believed I was destined for greatness. But the reality was different—academics were a constant battle for me. No matter how hard I studied, I struggled to grasp concepts as fast as others. My grades were consistently poor. I often found myself at the bottom of the class. Teachers expressed frustration. Some classmates mocked me. Others kept their distance, labeling me as dull.
When I entered university, the situation hadn’t improved. I was admitted to Makerere University, but I carried deep anxiety with me. Every lecture felt overwhelming. I would spend countless hours reading, only to forget everything soon after. I began to question if something spiritual was wrong with me.
