FEASSSA Games 2024 (Football Boys):

  • Group A: Bukedea Comprehensive School (Uganda) 2-0 Benjamin Mpaka SS (Tanzania)

Before hundreds of spectators on a new stadium at Bukedea Comprehensive Sports Park, hosts Bukedea Comprehensive School kicked off the 2024 FEASSSA Games with a promising note.

The co-hosts overcame Tanzania’s Benjamin Mpaka Secondary School 2-0 during a group A duel on Sunday, 18th August 2024.

Two first half goals from Reagan Ssekisambu and Yusuf Ssebumpenje inspired Ronald Ssali’s coached side to the much-needed victory.

Ssekisambu tapped home from close range as early as the 6th minute past goalkeeper Haji Abdala Abdala before Ssebumpenje’s second at the apex of the opening stanza on a bumpy grassy ground.

President Yoweri Museveni officially opened up these games that mark the 21st edition since inception.

Museveni called upon regional integration during his brief speech to foster unity and the spirit of Ubuntu.
